What’s new with me?
Hello reader,
It’s so nice to be writing to you again. You may have noticed some changes lately: new branding, new website, old blogs are gone.
So, why? I felt like, as I approach the end of my W.I.P., it’s time for a re-vamp. Wordpress previously hosted my website, and I’m not the best at tech, so I decided to switch it up and go with Squarespace. I’m not an affiliate, but I am so happy I made the switch.
If you’re an author and don’t know much about website design, I highly recommend Squarespace.
Anyway … I’ve been deep in my W.I.P. The Coven of Redthorn Manor: The Second Burning and I’m also working on stories for Impossible Things Publishing’s second volume of Under the Sea: Mermaid’s Grotto, which is available for pre-order.
If you haven’t picked up Under the Sea vol. 1: Summertime Myths and Magic, it is now perma-free!
In other news, I started a company to help indie authors like myself. I offer copy editing, book coaching, and in May, I’m launching a Mastermind group that will run for one full calendar year. If you’re interested in any of that, you can click here for the links.
As some of you know, I’m back in college. I’m nearly done and I’m feeling the senior-itis bug creeping up on me. I made the Dean’s list, and this semester has been a drag! I’m so wrapped up in author stuff that I am just uninterested in school. But I’m pushing through.
I’m also beta-reading for my business partner R. M. Carpus. She has a book coming out this year that is drama-dystopian-esque. It’s called The City Wife and is available for pre-order now!
My current read besides beta-reading for her is a book I’ve been trying to around to for almost a year The Seven and 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle, and to be honest, it’s not my normal go-to genre, so I’m having a hard time getting passed the first few chapters. I’m sure I will love it once I get into the thick of it, but if you know me, you know I rarely read anything with out a little magic :)
I’m also working on getting my freebie up and running, so stay tuned for that so you can jump on my mailing list so you can be abreast of all the D. M. Million news.
Okay, that’s all I have for you today. Thanks for reading and take care!
D. M.
