D. M. was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and raised in the suburbs of South Jersey. After spending a decade working as a hairstylist and makeup artist, she felt something was missing from her life…
Art expressed in words.
She embarked on her educational journey at St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia.
As an English and professional writing major, she fell back in love with literature; something she’d long forgotten in her youth.
During a creative writing course in which critiquing classmates’ work was a vital part of the program, she realized she had a knack for editing, and so began freelancing for authors.
A chance encounter with a seasoned author on campus led to D. M. forming a partnership with two other authors…
Impossible Things Publishing was born.
After a few years of publishing, Impossible Things Publishing has transformed into Wraith House.
The women published and continue publishing short story anthologies under the micro-press.
